Time for action — connecting with MySQL database server

In this section, we will create a MySQL server connection by giving access credentials to the IDE, which displays a list of available databases under that connection in the IDE:

  1. First of all, we will create the MySQL database server connection inside the IDE; press Ctrl+5 to bring the Services window to focus, expand the Databases node, right-click on MySQL Database Server, and choose Properties to open the MySQL Server Properties window, as shown in the following screenshot:
