Working with branches

The intent to start an alternative line of development generates a branch in the source code management system. Branch helps you to manage working contexts and provide separate workspaces. Generally, Master Branch is the one where the finest piece of code resides; along with it, there could be a Development Branch where the continuous development code can reside. Again, sensible software development uses branches to maintain features, releases, hotfixes, and so on.
