EXCEL WORKSHEETS CAN incorporate large amounts of data, not to mention charts and other images. Once you’ve established the print area and before you send all of that information to the printer, it’s a good idea to get into the habit of previewing your work, to make sure that there are no surprises when your file reaches the printer.
Choose File > Print to open Excel’s preview window (see Figure 9-3). The preview displays your worksheet exactly as it would appear if you printed the file on paper. For instance, if the selected printer prints only in black and white, the preview window will also display in black and white, even if your worksheet includes color objects.
