Connecting with Pinterest Users

Now that you’ve set up your profile and have started pinning some images and organizing your boards, you want to start building your Pinterest community. People who follow your profile or your individual boards in the Pinterest world are called (appropriately) followers.

Just like Facebook friends and fans and Twitter followers, your Pinterest followers are valuable. And one of the best ways to attract them is to effectively use Pinterest’s built-in connection tools.

We’ll talk in more detail about how to nurture relationships with your followers in Chapter 8. For now, let’s look at the four main ways that Pinterest users interact with each other.
