While I love video, still pictures have an undeniable appeal, whether as photos to email to friends and family, components of video slideshows, or even in hard-copy photo books from websites like Shutterfly and Snapfish. These pictures come from several sources, like my Canon Digital Rebel, or still frame grabs from my DV or HDV camcorders.
