Viewing and Managing Shared Resources

When your computer is sharing folders and files with other users of your network, you may from time to time want to know just what folders are being shared, and who is using them.

You can locate your computer in My Network Places and open its icon to see the list of shares offered by your computer, but there are two other tools that you should know about. The quickest is through the command line program net share. Net Share displays a list of all folders and printers that your computer is currently sharing.
