Fonts

The Fonts applet has been around, largely unchanged, since Windows 95. It actually might be a stretch to call this an applet, since it is really nothing more than a customized Windows Explorer window. The Fonts window is shown in Figure 28.5.

From this window, you can perform a multitude of tasks related to managing the fonts installed on your computer. The tasks that you can perform from the Fonts window are

  • Install new fonts.

  • Delete existing fonts.

  • View and/or print font samples, as shown in Figure 28.6.
