Repairing Windows XP

If you are reading this section, then most likely you are preparing for the worst, or the worst has already happened. Hopefully, you're doing the prudent thing by preparing for the inevitable failure. There are basically three methods you can use to repair, or in extreme cases, rebuild Windows XP. These methods are

  • Using the Recovery Console

  • Using the installation CD-ROM

  • Using a third-party recovery application

Before you try any other method to repair your Windows XP installation, you should try one of the three available Safe Mode alternatives.
