3.17. Plan Risk Responses

Plan Risk Responses is a process of deciding what actions to take to reduce threats and take advantage of the opportunities discovered during the risk analysis processes. This process includes assigning resources the responsibility of carrying out risk response plans outlined in this process. By the end of this process, the risk register will be updated to include a risk response plan for all risks that require some form of action.

Figure 3.37 shows the inputs, tools and techniques, and outputs of the Plan Risk Responses process.
