Task 6: Develop a communication plan based on the project organization structure and external stakeholder requirements, in order to manage the flow of project information.
This task addresses the need to develop an effective project communications management plan that reflects the organizational structure and existing process assets, and takes into account the communications requirements of all project stakeholders. The key purpose of developing a communications plan for the project is to ensure that a project manager can use effective communications to increase the chances of project success. Successful communications directly contribute to successful stakeholder expectation management in the two areas that are closely interlinked.
