27.4.1.2 Price-Sensitive Information
Price-sensitive information is likely to affect the price of a security. As per SEBI, any information that
pertains to the subjects mentioned below and was not generally known or was not published by the company
concerned for general information but, which if published or known is likely to affect the prices of the
securities in the market is price sensitive. However, speculative reports in print or electronic media shall not
be considered as published information.
As per SEBI in its amended Insider Trading Rules, 2002, the following seven subjects have been listed
as price sensitive:
