Apart from releasing gases and harmful substances into the atmosphere, human beings are also polluting the
environment by either disposing the waste materials or burying them. Often, these wastes are hazardous and
dangerous to both nature and human life. Corporations usually want to avoid the costs associated with having
to limit creation of hazardous waste. Consequently, they build landf lls on site and f ll them with wastes, or
