3.1.5 Self-Evolvability and Polytopes
Potentially self-evolvable schemas reinforce useful connections between
parts of separation schemas and allow synergy of the fi nal design. The
focus is not on each separate element, but rather on the relationships created
among elements by the way they are connected. The design therefore seeks
to minimize energy input by building systems with maximal benefi ts
between design elements to achieve a high level of synergy.
The separation schemas are not pre-determined and may evolve if the
environment changes.
