5.1Macroeconomic Relations

Trade plays a key role in an increasingly interconnected and interdependent world, and it makes up a large part of the global economy. It is not the task of a book about ports to dive into fundamental discussions about the key drivers of economic growth: is traffic demand primarily derived from the needs of the consumers and the industry, or is it rather the supply, which creates its own demand?
