The Optimist’s Answer to Everything
It has been said that when things go wrong, you or I must have “gotten up on the wrong side of the bed.” First thing in the morning, most of us do face two simple alternatives: roll over and get out of bed on the left side, or roll over and get out on the right. Even if your bed happens to be placed next to the wall, let me invite you to imagine that your bed has two sides from which you can choose. Now, let’s consider a simple parable about a boy who discovered that choosing which side of the bed to climb out of was analogous to choosing the world he would live in each day.
