Updesh Kumar, Ph.D., is Scientist ‘F’, and in the chair of the Head, Mental Health Division at Defence Institute of Psychological Research, R&D Organization (DRDO), Ministry of Defence, Delhi. He obtained his doctorate degree in the area of Suicidal Behaviour from Panjab University, Chandigarh, India and has 24 years of experience as a Scientist in an R&D organization. He specializes in the area of research in suicidal behavior, low-intensity conflict, personality assessment and terrorism.
