The PostNuke permissions system is essential to developing a customized site. It constantly manages the display of site features and has as much of an effect on your site’s layout as a custom theme. Like most security systems, PostNuke has two basic elements to administrate: users and resources.
User permissions can be set for each individual user account, but most of the time user access is managed through groups. Resources in PostNuke are referenced by module.
