DCM Boost Converter with Current-Mode Control
Abstract
Based on the developments given in Chapter 7, this chapter replaces voltage-mode PWM operation with peak current detection and works out its gain. Then modulator gain follows. When required performance is given, controlling-error amplifier is identified and its analog analytical function is extracted. Like all previous chapters, the equivalent digital filter is obtained based on the analog version. Then both of them are verified with simulations.
