this increases the system complexity and transmission delay and data
rate loss. Le Goff et al. (2008) proposed a modified SLM method
that does not require side information bits. It has been shown that the
modified method performs very well both in terms of PAPR reduc-
tion and BER (Le Goff et al., 2008), however the complexity of the
system is noticeably high.
Many modifications have been done by using the SLM method
but most of them increase the complexity of the system or degrade
