As shown in the flowchart in Figure4.20, the first step in the DSI
method is to generate a random dummy sequence and perform the
modulation process. en, the dummy sequence is applied to the input
signal. After IFFT, the PAPR is calculated and compared with a pre-
defined threshold value. If the PAPR is less than the threshold, the
signal is transmitted. Otherwise, the process of generating a random
dummy sequence and applying it to the main signal is repeated until the
