8.1 Introduction
is chapter presents the experimental results of testing the Mini-
Circuit power amplifier using Agilent equipment. VSA software and
MATLAB are used for this experiment. e VSA software is used
for capturing the samples from the Agilent equipment. ere are two
main pieces of equipment are used for this testing, a vector signal
generator and a vector signal analyzer. e first is used for the dig-
ital-to-analog converter (DAC) and upconversion; and the second is
used for the analog-to-digital converter (ADC) and downconversion.
MATLAB sends the input samples and receives the output samples
from the power amplifier (PA) through the vector signal analyzer
