In PMSMs, since there is no rotor winding, ux linkage in the air-gap and rotor is taken as being the
same and this is the ux linkage with which the reference frame has been aligned for FOC purposes
in Figure 24.4. Schematic representation of Figure 24.5 is the same regardless of the number of stator
phases as long as the CC is implemented, as shown in Figure 24.4. e only thing that changes is the
