3.0. Reheat Steam System
Reheat steam has two parts: CRH and HRH.
3.1. CRH Steam System
3.1.1. Objective and Function of The System
The exhaust from the HPT is the starting point of CRH steam. HPT exhaust represents for that piping section, where steam outlet from both the HPT and HP bypass system come and join. CRH steam may also be generated even when the HPT is not in operation, and sometimes as a combination of both. Depending on the load, CRH steam pressure at the HPT outlet may vary, so when the HP bypass works in tandem, the variations need to be controlled. This system includes the following major functions:
