4. Fuel Flow Control
4.0. General
Like the air flow control system, the fuel flow control system is a vital part of the combustion control system. On receiving a boiler load demand signal from the steam pressure controller with other influences, the fuel flow control system generates the demand for fuel flow and at the same time ensures adequate fuel flow as requisitioned by the combustion control system considering the necessary air flow required for complete combustion of fuels for keeping the steam pressure at its desired value.
