sense resistor is large enough to exceed the trip point, the voltage is folded back
thus also folding back the output current in proportion to the output voltage.
This protects the load circuitry from burning (see Figure 3–51).
Overvoltage protection on the output lines can take two forms, the brute
force approaches, and the overvoltage override approaches. The brute force
approaches are the overvoltage clamps and crowbars, as seen in Figure 3–52.
