Abstract

Ultrasonic machining, treated in this chapter, deals with the application of power ultrasonic vibrations to traditional machine tools and processes, such as drilling, milling, single-point turning, and grinding, to improve performance through faster cutting, improved finish, extended tool life, and working more challenging materials.
