All you are trying to do with a storyboard is be clear on what your message is. The more time you spend on it, the better it will get. It's what you cut out of a PowToon that will make it great and not just what you put in it. Make every word and image count. Make the message as personal as you can for every viewer.

One game I play, even with commercial projects, is "…pretend I will receive $100 for every word I can delete without changing the meaning". Having that sort of approach will ensure your PowToon has clarity of message.
