So that's an overview of how you might use text and make use of the available fonts. Use text to illustrate your (visual) message, adding to it. The point of a PowToon is to create movement, so do not slow down the movement using long words or too many words. Try to use as few as possible.

Once I have my words sorted, I try and delete as many as I can, pretending that I get $100 or $1,000 for each word I delete without altering my meaning. It is amazing just how many you can get rid of if you try hard!

If you are using a voiceover, give some time for the viewer to process and interpret any text that you have on the screen because people cannot easily listen to a voiceover (if you have one) and read at the same time. There are loads of options ...
