Chapter 17. Presenting on the Internet
PowerPoint includes a number of built-in features and wizards that use the Internet. For example, you can insert hyperlinks to Web sites, save a PowerPoint presentation directly to an FTP (File Transfer Protocol) site, and produce Web pages of your presentations.
The Web version of your presentation can be viewed in any browser (Figure 17.1), such as Internet Explorer or Netscape Navigator. The browser displays the slides one at a time, just as PowerPoint's slide show feature does. And if you like, you can publish your Web page on the Internet or on your company's intranet. Anyone who has a Web browser can view your slide show even if PowerPoint is not installed on the local computer.
