Sequencing

Sequencing is the ordering of update processes into a tenable progression.

There is usually a sequence of updates that must take place in a known order. In our worked example we cannot create an Absence record before we have the matching Absence Reason and Calendar records to which it relates. This dictates the sequence in which the data must be loaded.
