Steps to help with performance issues

Performance in microservice does not only depend on the code. It has to include issues such as network latency, message serialization/deserialization, dynamic loads within the application, and so on. This actually increases the scope of testing in terms of performance. The first step would be to increase the resources. Scale your application vertically, increase the server resources that will result in some performance gain, but adding more resources to the server cannot always help you.
