Measured variables can be categorized according to the type and
degree of information they contain. Thinking about the type of each
variable in an experiment can help the researcher to present them
correctly to the network. The principal categories will now be defined.
Nominal Variables
Nominal variables are sometimes thought of as naming things. They
do not have any numerical value. Measured values of a nominal
variable never have relationships like "greater than" or "less than."
