Creating a form

One of the most appealing qualities of PloneFormGen is the way it lets you build forms using the basic Plone content creation skills that you've already learned.

The basic steps for creating a form are:

  1. Add a Form Folder.
  2. Configure the basic properties of your form.
  3. Add and edit fields in your form.
  4. Configure one or more action adapters to handle the data that your form collects.

Adding a Form Folder

A Form Folder is PloneFormGen's basic container for a form. It will contain other content objects that represent the fields that make up your form, along with objects that control how your form is processed. (In Plone, content objects that contain other content objects are referred to as "folderish" objects; hence the name Form Folder.) ...
