CacheFu provides a centralized control panel that can be used to set the cache control and validation headers, based on a configurable set of rules defined by cache policies, cache rules, and header sets.
A cache policy is simply a container that holds a set of cache rules and header sets that determines how CacheFu will treat a request. You can define multiple policies, though only one policy can be active at a time.
A cache rule is a set of tests that is matched against the request. When a request comes in, CacheFu checks the cache rules for the active policy one by one, until it finds one that matches the request. The cache rule then delegates to one of the header sets.
