Writing about UX tools in a book can sometimes be a wasted effort. Technology changes so quickly that what was new today becomes obsolete or out of date by the time the book is published. Add to this an ever-growing array of UX job titles—designer, architect, ethnographer, researcher, engineer—and an increasing array of tools, and it becomes hard to know which tools to use and how to choose.
