If you decide that you no longer want some or all the changes you have made in your working copy, you can revert those changes. The Subversion client will restore the files as they were when you last checked out or updated. Doing a revert doesn’t get you the latest changes from the repository; you need to do an update to get those.
Subversion stores a pristine copy of each file in its hidden .svn administrative directories so it can do a revert without needing to talk to the server. This can be useful if you’re editing code on a plane or from home and cannot get a network connection to the server.
Reverting a copied, moved, or renamed item within Cornerstone does not delete the newly created copy of the item. ...
