36Using Third-Party Subversion Hosting

If you don’t want to run and maintain your own Subversion server, there are a number of third-party hosting services that will provide a server for you.

If you are developing open source software, SourceForge[12] will host your Subversion repository for free. Sign up on the website, and create your project. SourceForge will create a repository for your project, and you can begin using it. Remember to create the trunk, tags, and branches directories before starting work.
