Using Program Markers

Just as clip markers can help you identify important frames in the source clips, program markers can specify important points in the timeline.

In most respects, program markers work exactly the same way as clip markers. Although you use the marker pull-down menu on the program side of the Monitor window to set, delete, and cue to program markers, the controls are identical to those on the source side. And of course, program markers appear in the time ruler, rather than in clips. Apart from these minor differences, the methods you learned in Chapter 4 can be applied to program markers, and won’t be repeated here.
