Selecting Text

Whenever you want to edit or modify any of a text object’s attributes, you must first select all or part of the object.

To select text for editing:

1.
Do one of the following:
  • To select the entire text object, click the text with the selection tool (Figure 12.38).

  • To set an insertion point, double-click the text object with the selection tool (Figure 12.39).
