Specifying Line and Path Properties

In addition to adjusting the angle and curves of line segments, you can control the appearance of the corners and ends. The cap type determines how the ends of a path look. You can choose Butt, Square, or Round caps (Figure 12.82). The type of join determines whether a corner is mitered, rounded, or beveled (Figure 12.83). Framed Bezier shapes and lines have both join and cap options; filled Bezier shapes have only join options.
