As you saw in the previous chapter, all the files you add to a project—video clips, audio clips, still pictures, and synthetic media like leaders and mattes—are listed in the Media panel. The more complex the project, the lengthier and more unwieldy this list becomes. Fortunately, the Media panel includes features that help you keep your clips organized and easy to find, as this chapter explains.
You’ll also learn how to perform other media management tasks. For example, you can specify how Premiere Elements interprets aspects of a clip, such as its frame rate, pixel aspect ratio, and alpha channel. Finally, you’ll learn how to restore an offline clip by reuniting it with its previously missing source file.
