Introduction

In this chapter and in the two chapters that follow, we’ll see how to transfer data from various sources into a JMP data table. This chapter focuses on common data file formats that analysts are likely to encounter when assembling data for a project. Chapter 5 covers database queries, and Chapter 6 demonstrates methods for reading data from websites.
