Appendix F. Supplemental tests

This appendix contains the results of a test project run at the IBM Toronto Lab.

They are related to, but not directly comparable with, the testing documented in

the other sections of this redbook.

These tests explored the impact of specific configurable variables on the loading

performance of a DB2 data warehouse. They did not, for example, consider the

impact of a concurrent continuous query workload. The results are presented

here simply for your information, and as additional validation of the testing

completed in this redbook.

We have condensed and re-written some of the information from the test results

for use in this redbook. The intent was not to modify the test results in any way,

but simply to condense and clarify the information.
