The Art of Presenting

Like any art, presenting must be practiced. It always amazes me when people don’t practice or prepare a presentation and then are surprised when it doesn’t go well. How can you expect a successful result when you didn’t do anything to achieve that result?

Yet people spend time practicing a sport or playing an instrument because they know the only way to get better is to practice. If you play tennis, you can’t have a good backhand unless you practice so much that you create a “body habit.” So, when you use your backhand, you don’t think about where your feet are or how your hands are holding the racket.
