Q & A Sessions

For many presentations, you or your sponsor may decide to have a Q & A session as part of the presentation. Questions and answers are generated by both you and your audience and, in some cases, by audience members asking each other questions about a particular subject. In fact, many experienced presenters evaluate the effectiveness of their presentation by the kinds of questions sparked by it.

You may choose to ask your audience questions either during the presentation or at its conclusion. Tell your audience at the beginning of your presentation when you plan to entertain questions, but never ask for questions right before a break or other times right before food is to be served.
