Take a moment right now and think back to a year ago. What’s the first memory that pops into your mind? What’s the first thing you can recall from 12 months ago? My guess is that whatever you remember, it’s tied to a strong emotion. It could be good, bad, happy, sad, or any of a million emotions in between.
