Appendix D. List of Privacy Content

This appendix lists the privacy content that should accompany your product or Web site. By providing this content, you are disclosing to your customers what data you are collecting and how it is being used. In some cases, you are explaining how they can use features of your application or Web service to protect their privacy. Disclosure is an important element of customer trust. Every product or service, whether it collects data or not, should have a privacy statement that can be easily accessed by consumers.
