Windows Media Player 9 (WMP9) is a rich multimedia utility that can play CDs, DVDs, and permit users to listen to online radio stations. Many of the features of WMP9 are implemented by downloading information from the Internet to enrich the media playback experience. To provide this enriched experience, information about what you are watching or listening to must be sent to the WindowsMedia.com site. The Customer Experience Improvement Program can send information about how you use the media player to Microsoft to help them improve future versions of the media player.
