Browsers and P3P Integration
There are several Internet browsers out today. Some of them have P3P integration, whereas others don't. There is also a P3P-enabled user agent, called the AT&T Privacy Bird, which can be integrated into IE6. The integration of P3P into browsers for the most part assists users with the management of cookies. Cookies can be used to track your browsing habits, which may not be acceptable to you. These P3P-enabled browsers also can warn the user when a Web site's privacy policy conflicts with the user's privacy preferences. Unfortunately, Web sites have to deploy P3P for the browsers to accurately reflect a site's policy. Otherwise, the browser may provide a false reading.
