Luis J. Gonzalez, MLS, MPA, AHIP is Dean of Libraries at Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP). A native of Lares, Puerto Rico, he has worked in academic libraries since 1986, starting as a circulation clerk at the Bank Street College of Education Library in New York City. After acquiring his Master of Library Science (MLS) degree from Queens College in 1997, he worked as a mid-level administrator in State University of New York Downstate’s Brooklyn Medical Research Library, Mount Sinai School of Medicine’s library and New York University’s dental and medical libraries.
